Hotchalk

These are known as hotchalks, because numbering or writing to be done on item when it is in hot condition.  In steel plants ingots are manufactured & every ingots are to be numbered for batch.  When the ingots are in hot condition, the heat number is written on surface & number marked will be permanent after ingot cools down.  It is a practice to write on ingot at different temperature depends upon working of people in practice.  Hotchalks are made from industrial waxes (synthetic & natural), 
fillers & whitening agents, bonding agents, binders, setting compound etc.

Size of Hotchalk 1) 10 Ø X 140 long & 15 Ø X 150 long.

Due to oxidation of colour pigment hotchalks in yellow colour are manufactured upto 3500 C or other all grade hotchalks are in white colour only.

Hotchalk are used for marking on Ingots, Mild Steel, Alloy Steel, Stainless Steel, Open Forging Industry &
also for Hot Rolled Plants etc.

2) Combustion Boats

This Item looks like boat, hence it is called combustion boats, used for measuring carbon & sulphur percentage in steel in combustion tubes of muffle furnace of carbon & sulphur apparatus.  The boats are used in Metal Testing Laboratory; steel plants; Cast Iron, Alloy & S. S. Industries.  Our Std.

             2) 78 X 12 X 10  
             3) 82 X 12 X 10

3) Thermocrayon Sticks i.e. Temperature indicative crayon for measuring surface temperature of metals or any other non porous objects.  Calibration of Thermocrayon is carried batchwise with electronic Temperature Recorder & Counter checking is done simultaneously with standard melting substance.

A chalky, dry, dull mark results.

The mark melts quickly when the metal surface reaches rated temperature.

Accuracy is 1 % to 1.5 % of marked temperature.

Thermocrayon of temperature ranges are manufactured from 500C, 750C, 1000C, 1200C, 1500C, 2000C, 
2500C, 3000C, 3500C, 4000C, 4500C, 5000C, 5500C, 6000C, 6500C & 9000C

We manufacture specific temperature ranges if required, in quantity by consumer.

Chromocrayon : Chromocrayon when marked over surface, it changes colour at rated temperature.
We manufacture chromocrayon of temperature ranges from 1500C, 1800C, 2000C, 2200C, 2500C, 3000C, 3500C, 4000C,  4500C, 5000C.

Temperature crayons are used in chemical industry, Fabrication Industry, Thermal Power Plant, Manufacture of Chemical vessels; Pressure Vessels & General Engineering Industry.

4) Permanent Metal Marker : Available in 1 / 16" & 1 / 8 " Nipple Size, detail of use is attached separately

5) All purpose marker : Available in 3 /32 " plastic ball nipple; water base in white & yellow colour. 
     We also manufacture Hotchalk for annealing cast iron & steel industry.

6) Hotchalk : We have hotchalk for marking on Aluminium, Zinc Ingots, Suitable for marking 
    upto 4500C, in different colours.

7) Rubber Marker : We manufacture yellow golden crayons for marking on Rubber; Glass & Bakelite 
    suitable for marking upto 1500C.

Technical Specification & Marking Characteristics Highly Specialised quick drying, easy flow ink, filled in aluminium collapsible tube container Fitted with nozzle ball point head for smooth non stop writing.

Capacity : 20 grams of ink per tube.
Working Temperature : Flowless marking is possible at a temperature range 100c to 600C.
 
Pot life : One year if stored in a cool dry place.
 
Gloss : These specialised ink imparts, extremely glossy marking which can be detected from a Sufficiently long distance - even in insufficient light.

Marking on substrate will remain unchanged in extreme climatic conditions

e.g.  a. Substrate kept under scorching sun for months.
       b. Substrate lying under torrential rain for days.
       c. Substrate got submerged due to waterlogging.

Substrate : Mark well on any substrate free from dirt, oil, grease.  Surface should not be too rough.

Available ink shades White, Yellow, Blue, Black, Green, Red
Safety Utility & Economy Safety : Handy and hence easier to mark on substrate kept on stags sufficiently above the ground level e.g. men marking on a substrate while standing on a ladder.

Cleanliness : No chance of spilling (Frequently occurs from ink cans) and hence floors will remain clean.  Even the person using METAL MARKER will find his dress and hands free from any undesired ink mark.

Economy : Unlike conventional ink-brush system there is no chance of air-drying as the specially designed ball point nozzle head acts as an air seal.
