| DESCRIPTION |
| Many applications require the measurement and for evaluation of the lower part |
| of a wide pressure range, or a protection against short pressure peaks which |
| may considerably exceed the operating pressure range. The over pressure |
| protector is used in such applications. Various ranges are available, the desired |
| pressure is easily set. |
| OPERATION |
| When the pressure set with a wrench is attained, the duct leading to the |
| pressure gauge is closed by a piston to protect the gauge against overloads. |
| When the pressure drops again, the piston opens the duct at a pressure of 15 to |
| 25% below the set pressure. |
